Welcome to Strib Varsity, the high school sports destination from the Minnesota Star Tribune.
Launched in August 2025, Strib Varsity is a new brand, new website and fresh voice across social media. It will be a convener, the multifaceted home for so many varieties of high school sports coverage and information for Minnesotans following high school sports.

Strib Varsity has its own look and feel. It will have its own live events, shows, videos, and more. At its core are three essential components: journalism from Star Tribune reporters, photographers and editors; the scores and stats that populate our thousands of Hubs pages across 32 sports; and games to watch live on your screens.

Most of the webpages on Strib Varsity are free to view, as they contain scores and stats and rosters provided by school and team leaders. The webpages that contain our journalism or videos and shows will most often require a Star Tribune subscription to read. A single Star Tribune subscription unlocks every piece of Strib Varsity and the entirety of Star Tribune.

High school sports matter in every community in our state, and every community in our state matters to the Minnesota Star Tribune. This connectedness and our commitment were the seeds of Strib Varsity. We’ll grow together and expand in 2025 and beyond, to serve Minnesotans and become your favorite destination for all things high school sports.
