The top girls basketball players in Minnesota’s senior class are nearly all committed after St. Michael-Albertville’s Cail Jahnke announced her decision Thursday to play for Colorado.

Jahnke, who was ranked as the No. 4 player in the Class of 2026 by Prep Hoops, had offers and interest from more than 20 Division I programs, including the Gophers and Wisconsin.

Jahnke, a 6-2 wing, averaged 20 points per game for the Knights, who finished 18-11 last season after losing to Brainerd in the Class 4A Section 8 final.

In 2022-23, Jahnke played as a freshman on STMA’s Class 4A state championship team when it won 71-70 against Hopkins at Williams Arena.

A three-sport athlete, Jahnke also competes in volleyball and track. She played AAU basketball for North Tartan, one of the top teams in the Nike girls EYBL circuit.

Ahead of her in the 2026 class in the state are only Providence Academy’s Maddyn Greenway (Kentucky), Crosby-Ironton’s Tori Oehrlein (Gophers) and East Ridge’s Vienna Murray.

Murray is now the only uncommitted player left among the top 16 players in state’s senior class, according to the Prep Hoop Girls rankings.
