North St. Paul leaned on a strong AAU background with its new girls basketball head coach, Jayson Edwards.
Edwards, who has been an assistant at St. Croix Lutheran, runs the Elevate Skills Development AAU program, which has boys teams competing in 15U through 17U this year.
“I’m ready to build a culture where development comes first and winning follows,” said Edwards, who also worked as the Woodbury junior varsity coach for three seasons.
