One team is No. 11 in Strib Varsity’s girls volleyball Minnesota Top 25 and the first team out of the top 10 in the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association’s Class 4A rankings. The other team is No. 13 in the Minnesota Top 25 and No. 9 in the Class 4A poll.

Tuesday’s game, streaming at stribvarsity.com, could give host Centennial or Roseville the edge in upcoming rankings. The girls volleyball matchup will stream live at 7 p.m. here.

Roseville (6-2) made its ninth state tournament appearance last season and returned 11 players, including All-Suburban East junior setter/right side Leah Biyadglign. The Raiders’ losses have come against Champlin Park, No. 10 in Class 4A, and Southwest Christian, No. 2 in Class 2A.

Centennial (3-2) lost to Benilde-St. Margaret’s, No. 3 in Class 3A, and Stillwater, No. 7 in Class 4A. The Cougars, whose last state tournament appearance was in 2022, will look to Elena Hoecke, a Gophers recruit and the state’s top-ranked senior, to lead them back into the state rankings.
