After close losses in Week 1 and resounding victories in Week 2, both Bemidji and Buffalo are looking to form a winning streak.

Of course, only one team can, and Friday night will determine which one that is when Buffalo hosts Bemidji.

You can watch the game Friday at 7 p.m. right here.

Bemidji is 1-1 this season after dropping its opener in a tight 50-42 game against Elk River, which is No. 7 in the latest Minnesota Top 25 rankings. Bemidji beat Grand Rapids 24-7 last week. The Lumberjacks made their most recent of eight state tournament appearances in 2018.

Buffalo got its first win after bouncing back last week with a 24-6 win against Cooper. Brainerd scored 13 fourth-quarter points to beat Buffalo in the season opener. The Bison moved to Class 5A after making the Class 6A state tournament last year. Defensive lineman Hans Pederson will play for Army next year.

This game is a part of a collaboration between Strib Varsity and the Lake Conference Network this school year. With live coverage of 17 sports, the Lake Conference Network delivers a streaming experience for Lake Conference schools (Buffalo, Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, St. Michael-Albertville and Wayzata) and their fans and families.
