The Minnesota Star Tribune’s launch of Strib Varsity and fresh investment into high school sports coverage brings a new opportunity for communities and journalists to connect. Strib Varsity is a statewide effort. Our coverage area is from border to border, and from Ada to Zumbrota.

The largest schools across the state generally will have frequent coverage, as their many teams — some schools offer more than 30 sports for student-athletes — make news, qualify for state tournaments or have standout performances. To smaller high schools throughout Minnesota, consider this our invitation to email us any time with story tips or ideas.
