Boys basketball state tournament: Pairings are in place for Class 4A, 3A championship games

Wayzata will take on Cretin-Derham Hall in 4A, and Alexandria will play Mankato East in 3A.

On Thursday, the Class 1A quarterfinals take place at Target Center while the remaining teams in 4A and 3A play in the semifinals at Williams Arena.

Twelve teams across Class 4A, 3A and 2A advanced to the semifinal round on Tuesday. Here’s the game-by-game recap.

Class 1A

At Target Center

11 a.m.: Cherry 89, BOLD 57

1 p.m.: Nevis 58, Henning 52

3 p.m.: Dawson-Boyd 69, Heritage Christian 46

5 p.m.: Red Lake County 68, Goodhue 61

Class 3A:

At Williams Arena

Noon: Mankato East 64, Orono 62

2 p.m.: Alexandria 73, Totino-Grace 65

Class 4A

At Williams Arena

6 p.m.: Cretin-Derham Hall 63, Maple Grove 49

8 p.m.: Wayzata 59, Shakopee 55
