The coaches identified little to change in their latest rankings.
Two teams are No. 1 in the latest Class 3A rankings: Edina moved into a tie with Minnetonka atop the list.
As section tournaments fired up, movement in the top 10 of the three classes was slight.
Defending state champion Mahtomedi unseated Blake atop the Class 2A rankings.
St. Paul Central (Class 3A), Mankato East (2A) and PACT (1A) won their way into the top 10.
St. Paul Academy made the biggest move in the rankings, rising to fourth, and seven teams spread across three classes joined the top 10.
Kasson-Mantorville runner David Obst rose suddenly to the top of Class 2A, and St. Paul Como Park surged up the team list.
The latest list differs markedly from the previous one, especially in Class 2A, where Mahtomedi is No. 1 after not being ranked.
A forward who’s scored every time she’s played leads one list, and a team well on its way back to state is atop the other.
In the only change at the top, Elk River took over at No. 1 in Class 5A.
