We launched Strib Varsity on Monday knowing we needed more time to build our historical stats and records display. We were told by many Minnesota Star Tribune and Strib Varsity readers who asked about these stats that “please wait” was not a satisfying answer.

Today, after some hustling and priority-shuffling, we’re happy to report our historical data from previous seasons — team records, individual stats, standings, rosters and more from the 14 sports for which we collect this data — are available again. Thank you for speaking up. Thank you for your patience while we rearranged our post-launch plans and priorities. And thank you for your continued support of Strib Varsity.

Here’s how you can access all of our data, stats and historical records from our MN Hubs sites:

On each sport hub homepage and team page on our Strib Varsity website is a new tab that reads “Historical Data.” (Examples: our Strib Varsity Girls Volleyball Hub, or Football Hub.) Click that Historical Data tab and you’ll end up in a familiar place if you’ve scanned (or devoured) our historical stats before: our “old” MN Hubs websites. Dive in, and when you’re done there, come back to Strib Varsity for all that’s new.

Meanwhile, we’ll continue building our long-term plan for displaying these stats fully on Strib Varsity. Coming this fall.
