Welcome back to the rankings, Rosemount. And hey, St. Thomas Academy, enjoy that top-10 spot.

The Cadets got a little payback after back-to-back state tournament losses to Chanhassen.

7. Shakopee (3-1)

The Sabers fell in a rumble with a team known for its rough-and-tumble style.

8. Andover (3-1)

QB Joseph Mapson threw a TD pass with 4:27 left to lift the Huskies to victory.

The Cougars rushed for 290 yards but couldn’t hold a late lead.

Backup QB Austin Dryburgh’s second touchdown pass of the game to the amazing David Mack, with 1:15 left, gave the Spuds the win Friday.

A search for gunmen in the area of the Zephyrs’ field forced the move to Monday.

18. Hermantown (4A, 4-0)

Friday was a huge game for Martin Sleen: 20 carries, 369 yards, six TDs.

19. Spring Lake Park (5A, 4-0)

QB Nolan Roach was a career-best 12-for-14 passing for 227 yards and two TDs.

20. Minneota (1A, 4-0)

The Vikings outgained Lakeview 385-80 in total yards.

21. Annandale (3A, 4-0)

The Cardinals get their first big test this week at undefeated Holy Family.

The Tigers have beaten Hutchinson two times in a row, by a combined 84-19.

23. Pine Island (3A, 4-0)

Panthers RB Nick Thein is a big-play machine: four games, nine TDs, 10.6 yards per carry.

24. Mankato East (5A, 3-1)
