Minnesota high school boys basketball state poll: Week 3

After previous No. 1 tumbles, Goodhue moves into No. 1 spot in Class 2A.

Goodhue moved up from No. 3 to No. 1 after previous No. 1 Jackson County Central and No. 2 Montevideo took a tumble down the Class 2A rankings. Goodhue and Pelican Rapids have moved up into the top spots of the Class 2A and 1A top 10, respectively, of the boys basketball rankings from the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association.

Goodhue moved up from No. 3 to No. 1 after previous No. 1 Jackson County Central and No. 2 Montevideo took a tumble down the Class 2A rankings. Jackson County Central all the way down to No. 9 and Montevideo fell to No. 7. Minneapolis North made a jump in the rankings moving from No. 8 to No. 5.

Pelican Rapids just swapped spots with the No. 2 and No. 1 spots with Cherry.

The only other team to move up three spots or more in the rankings is Eagan. They moved up from No. 10 to No. 7 in 4A.

There are seven teams that join the top 10 after missing out last week. Eden Prairie and Lakeville South join the Class 4A ranking at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively. St. Peter and Stewartville are in the Class 3A ranking at No. 8 and No. 10. Morris and Zumbrota-Mazeppa join the top 10 at No. 6 and No. 10, respectively. Park Christian joins the Class 1A ranking at No. 10.
