Minnesota high school girls cross-country top-10 poll: Week 4

The lead runners among teams kept their leads in the latest rankings, except in Class 1A, where New London-Spicer and St. Cloud Cathedral rose to Nos. 1 and 2.

Wayzata's Maddie Gullickson, shown winning the Class 3A 3,200 in track and field in June holds the No. 1 girls cross-country ranking, and she runs for the No. 1 team. (Leila Navidi/The Minnesota Star Tribune)

A week of running did little to change the high school girls cross-country polls. Very little movement came to the top spots in each class in the rankings released this week, and no change occurred in the individual rankings.

The lone change at the top of the team rankings came at No. 1 in Class 1A. New London-Spicer and St. Cloud Cathedral moved up one spot each, to No. 1 and No. 2.

Wayzata remained No. 1 among Class 3A teams and has the top two individuals, No. 1 Maddie Gullickson and No. 2 Lila Golomb.

Minneapolis Southwest and St. Peter’s Keira Friedrich stayed in the top spots in Class 2A.
