Logan Drevlow, who last season as a sophomore repeated as the state champion in Nordic skiing, began the 2025-26 season in the top spot from the Minnesota Nordic Ski Head Coaches Association.
The season officially began Nov. 13.
The top challengers to Drevlow, last season’s Star Tribune boys Nordic Skier of the Year, are Sartell’s Andrew Berndt and Minnetonka’s Peter Hackney. Both skiers have work to do after finishing outside the top five at last season’s state meet.
The team rankings have a little more intrigue. Minneapolis Washburn is in the No. 1 spot after finishing fourth at the state meet. Last year’s team champion, Wayzata, began this season in the No. 6 spot.
