Minnesota’s high school football class-by-class state rankings for Week 3

Defending champs Maple Grove, Jackson County Central and Minneota rank No. 1 in respective classifications.

The first class-by-class football state rankings of the 2025 season show Maple Grove atop Class 6A.

The other top-ranked teams are Chanhassen in 5A, Byron in 4A, Annandale in 3A, Jackson County Central Caledonia in 2A, Minneota in 1A, and Hills-Beaver Creek at No. 1 in Nine-Person.

The football state rankings are compiled by the Minnesota Star Tribune’s Jim Paulsen and distributed statewide by the Star Tribune. The polls reflect votes submitted by members of the media across Minnesota.
