Here are the Minnesota girls hockey state tournament qualifiers

Section championships wrapped up Friday, and the 16 qualifiers will be seeded in the Class 2A and 1A tournaments on Saturday.

Section championships are being won this week all across Minnesota, with teams booking their trips to St. Paul for the girls hockey state tournament. The big show begins Feb. 18 at Grand Casino Arena, with state champions crowned Feb. 21.

The seeding for the two eight-team brackets will be revealed on Saturday, Feb. 14. The Minnesota State High School League will seed the teams 1 through 8 in each class.

Before then, teams across the state are competing in their section tournaments for those 16 coveted spots in the state tournament.

Class 2A

Section 1: Farmington (def. Northfield 3-2)

Section 2: Holy Family (def. Minnetonka 5-4 in 2OT)

Section 3: Lakeville North (def. Apple Valley 1-0 in 2OT)

Section 4: Hill-Murray (def. Woodbury 5-1)

Section 5: Centennial/Spring Lake Park (def. Maple Grove 4-1)

Section 4: Blake (def. Holy Angels 3-2) .

Section 5: Breck (def. Westonka/Southwest Christian 3-0)

Section 6: St. Cloud (def. Fergus Falls 5-2)

Section 7: Proctor/Hermantown (def. North Shore 5-1)

Section 8: Warroad (def. East Grand Forks 5-0)
