Wayzata will take on Cretin-Derham Hall in 4A, and Alexandria will play Mankato East in 3A.
Longtime Star Tribune sportswriter Ron Haggstrom forecasts which teams will advance to the semifinals and championship games, including the eventual tournament winners in all four classes.
Going into the state tournament, here’s where Minnesota’s best teams fall in line.
Mankato East was awarded the top seed in the tough 3A bracket. The 2025 tournament is spread over two sites, Target Center and Williams Arena.
The brackets will be revealed at 10 a.m. Saturday via stream, and quarterfinals will begin Tuesday.
Take a tour through some sections where competition will be fierce, and then check out the predictions.
These teams across Minnesota qualified for the boys basketball state tournament March 24-28.
