On Tuesday, the Star Tribune recognized the state’s top high school athletes, coaches and teams at the All-Minnesota Sports Awards at Viking Lakes.
These soon-to-be seniors, some of who will sign athletic scholarships in the fall or winter, enter their final seasons with a history of success in sports.
From basketball to hockey, these ninth-graders have already gained notoriety in their respective sports.
Each team had a known force, Maddyn Greenway for Providence Academy and Saraphina Bettin for Southwest Christian, but freshman Blake Hudson provided the only goal.
