Defending Class 4A champion Hopkins retained the top spot, but other teams moved around based on early-season impressions.
The No. 1 programs held their ground, but not much else stayed the same as in the preseason.
Hopkins, reigning in Class 4A, and Providence Academy, 2A’s winner four years in a row, begin the list.
Hopkins, Benilde-St. Margaret’s and Providence Academy begin the 2025 season as the top teams in 4A, 3A and 2A according to the Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association.
These teams across Minnesota qualified for the girls basketball state tournament March 11-14.
