Players on this year’s team grew up looking at the 2014 and ′15 championship banners hanging from the rafters. Players from those teams returned in December to reunite for their 10-year title anniversaries.
It’ll be Moorhead vs. Stillwater in Class 2A and St. Cloud Cathedral vs. East Grand Forks in Class 1A.
In semifinals, East Grand Forks defeated Hibbing/Chisholm 7-5 while Cathedral beat Orono 4-1.
Edina, after an overtime victory, will play Moorhead in one Friday game, and Stillwater will take on St. Thomas Academy in the other.
It’ll be St. Cloud Cathedral vs. Orono and Hibbing/Chisholm vs. East Grand Forks in Friday’s early session.
