At Moorhead, quarterback Jett Feeney completed 26 of 36 passes for 373 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Spuds over Brainerd on Friday.

The invitational, hosted by Apple Valley, included eight of the top ten teams in Class 4A, plus the second and third-ranked teams in Class 3A.

The matchup lent a high-profile feel to the day when most fall prep sports began their 2024 competition.
