Defending champs return for more in Minnesota high school golf, led by four of 2024’s six individual winners.

Now that the state tournament has concluded, here’s where Minnesota’s best teams fall in line according to writer Ron Haggstrom.

Brayson Boike led the way with 29 points to bring the Blackjacks their first boys basketball title.

Alexandria won the Class 3A title, Albany won 2A and Dawson-Boyd took 1A. The 4A final remains.

Cherry and Dawson-Boyd advanced to the 1A final, and Albany and Waseca reached the 2A semifinal title game.

Cherry defeated Nevis 79-70 while Dawson-Boyd beat Red Lake County 80-66 in state semifinals on Friday to advance.

Wayzata will take on Cretin-Derham Hall in 4A, and Alexandria will play Mankato East in 3A.
