The teams are beginning section tournaments this week as they play their way toward state.
Postseason play begins Tuesday around Minnesota, and some of the state’s best could be eliminated before reaching the state tournament.
As the regular season winds down, Maple Grove, Eagan and Centennial made big jumps.
Mayer Lutheran, with St. Cloud State commits Izzy and Clara Keaveny, faced Visitation in both teams’ regular-season finale.
Maple Grove rose to No. 1 in Class 4A, and Eagan surged up the list into a tie for second.
Marshall, Lakeville South, Delano, Chanhassen and Maple Grove remain the top five, though winning streaks were put to the test.
Mayer Lutheran and Minneota, the teams that played for the Class 1A title last fall, switched spots atop their list.
Lakeville South rose to No. 1 in Class 4A, moving Chanhassen down to No. 2.
Maple Grove, the Lakeville schools, Cretin-Derham Hall and others are in the stretch run of conference title races.
Marshall kept the No. 1 ranking after its first loss of 2025, but Lakeville South, Delano, Maple Grove and others are hot on their trail.
Griffen Dean, Keira Friedrich, Maizee Storey, Izzy Keaveny, Keymoni Bent, Evie Holmes and Elleora Utecht are the latest honorees.
