Defending Class 1A state champion Luke Mechtel returned with high hopes for his senior year to lead the St. Thomas Academy boys swim team to a second straight title.

Highlighting the individual competition are superstar St. Cloud swimmer Micah Davis and dominating Rosemount diver Lucas Gerten.
